KEITH IS THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keith had his last chemo treatment today and he is through!!!!!! I went over to take him lunch today and everyone was in the Christmas spirit. I have to admit, it has finally hit me too. I ran into Dr. Hamrick and we had a short time to talk. He gave me the thumb up sign and a big smile. When he got off the phone we talked for a minute. He is very pleased with the way things have gone. As usual he tempered his remarks with "but we don't know what the future will hold". He admitted that when Keith started chemo he really didn't think Keith would be here for Christmas and had surprised everyone. You want to know something, I just don't care what he thinks. I don't mean I am looking at next year through rose colored glasses. I know in my heart what is going to happen SOMETIME, but at some point we all die and the only one who know when and where is GOD!!!!

Right now, I am realizing that and very happy. We made it though, I have my wonderful, sweet husband still and that is the greatest gift I have been given this year. Though tears I just told him this and how much I love him. As one of my MPIP friends said " family - priceless".

Hold the ones you love and cherish close. Tell them you love them all the time. As this year will tell you, you never know what will happen.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!! We have a bottle of Champagne to celebrate with Monday when the family is here.
