Snow Update

Well, the best news is Atlanta is still standing. It was great while it lasted, but as usual the forecasters made a mountain out of a molehill. Churches closed, school stuff closed and Atlanta got ready for a major ice. Ha! Ha! Our church didn't close and we had service as usual. In fact, we all got a laugh at church out of the forecasters. As Rev. Terry said, you would have thought it was Armageddon. The winds came in and blew the wet streets dry and by the end of the day today most of the snow in our area was gone. It is cold though.

I think they love to exaggerate things on the newscasts and weathercasts. Over here it's always the "largest" amount of rain on record, or the "Great" storm of whatever year, the coldest winter, wettest spring, driest summer. It's always the "est" everything! Glad Atlanta didn't fall though!
