Keith continues to fight and hold on. He has rallied some today and yesterday. When we got there this morning he was very awake and greeted us with a wave and smile. Kevin had been there this morning and said that Keith had eaten some eggs and drink his juice this morning. As the day wore on he became unresponsive and very sleepy. We had met with the doctor yesterday and he said he was not surprised with the rally, but not to expect to much and to be prepared for what could happen after this rally. Keith has lost so much weight that his shirts are just hanging on him. He hates hospital gowns and we keep pull-overs for him. He is having quite a bit of trouble talking now, I think the effort just wears his out.
We have met another family there and I hope we have been a comfort to each other. We talk in the family room and share hugs.
Sleeping is still eluding me. I seem to wake up about 3 every morning and can't get back to sleep. By the time we get home I am very tired, so if what I write doesn't make sense I can blame it on that.

you have been in my prayers since i read of you on Jenni Halley's blog - may God hold you all gently in His hands - hugs g
I cannot imagine how heart breaking or difficult this is for all of you. May the Lord hold you in His hands and bring you peace and comfort of some measure. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you all.
Just to let you know that you are at the front of my thoughts and prayers this moment and all day. I have checked the blog almost obsessively, hoping for a post, all along knowing that you are spending each precious moment with Keith. I don't need to hear the news to know that things are not good. So I continue to storm Heaven on your behalf, praying for peace, sanity, and that surge of love that surrounds you.
Jenni
