Hoorah for Rain

Gov. Purdue's prayer service helped a little yesterday. It rained during the night and here in Lawrenceville, I think we got a bit. Also, it brought the cooler weather. As I said yesterday I was in shorts. Today it is windy, cool and sort of bitter. Today was jeans and sweater weather. I also went down to the store and got some firewood. It was nice to have the first fire of the season. We are trying to get Thanksgiving pinned down. I am still not sure of who will be here. I think it will be a quiet celebration. We are going over to Kevin and Lisa's Thanksgiving morning for brunch. Not much else going on. Keith's chemo has been cancelled until the Friday after Thanksgiving. the doctor's office will be closed on Thursday and Friday so we had to make it for a week after. This will mean he will finish up the Friday before Christmas.
