It has been a quiet Saturday here. I woke up with s splitting headache that would not go away. I think a good night sleep with help. Keith went to the store for me and also took Christopher driving. I am so glad he went instead of me. I think I have more patience than Keith but I wasn't in the mood for a 15 year old driving today. I did fell well enough to finish up the washing and get all the ironing done. Most people are surprised when I tell them I do all Keith's shirts, but I just will not spend the money on a cleaners for what they charge. Since he wears a 1 a day it usually only 4 or 5, so I just pop a DVD in and iron. No big deal.
Christopher is getting the hang of a stick. Keith feels that everyone should learn to drive a stick before he gets an automatic. Funny, I never knew how to drive a stick until I married Keith. He had to teach me.
I did try to cross-stitch some today but, found it didn't help the headache so had to put it aside for awhile. Hopefully tomorrow I can pick it back up. I got a new chart this week. It is a Hummel figurine. I have always loved them, Mom has some she got when we lived in Europe in the 60's. This one is so cute and hopefully I can get it finished before Christmas. It is a present to myself. My next project is to get some of the pictures I have made framed. I also do that myself most of the time.
Keith went to the doctor yesterday and his white count was 2.9. Dr. Hamrick was pleased and for the week after chemo that is good. He is feeling good and even staying up tonight.
Well, so much for today. I want to thank everyone that sent me comments, they really mean alot to me. Talk to ya'll later.

Hello Suzan and Keith,
I saw your post on our blog today, and I wanted to let you know that I check your blog daily to see how Keith is doing, and how things are going with the rest of the family. Thank you for your encouragement and support, and know that we are here for you as well.

Hello Suzan,
Headaches can be so annoying - as well as hurt. You sure do a good job of being strong.
I am constantly being surprised with how many folks have to deal with all this stuff. I read Anna's and Jenni's comments and felt a heart tug. Ok - more prayers are on their way to you folks - and good thoughts are being sent too. I wish there was more that could be done. Are the treatments the same in Norway as they are here? I've gone to alternate medical sites along with the conventional treatments just to learn more about demon C. Goodness, how does anyone know what to do? My heart goes out to all of you.
I am happy to hear that Keith is doing well. Sure am pulling for ya Keith! And Christopher, hows the driving? Hang in there Suzan, you are really doing a fantastic job! Good thoughts and prayers are always being sent. Love you - Rhonda
Oh, my God! The world is all too small and there is too much bad stuff in it.
I just finished reading most of your entries and I'm stunned. You sound like you are coping pretty well in that strong-willed and fiesty way that I knew 35 years ago. Keith is a fortunate guy to have someone who is capable of staring down cancer with him.
In our case, we all survived on hope and appreciate life a lot more now. We moved to Decatur into a home with a basement apartment for John. He graduated from Emory a year late and is well enough now to be studying for his Masters at Georgia State and teaching two classes there. Courtney comes and goes from college from time to time and Debbie is the glue that holds our 21st Century family together well.
We will keep you all in our thoughts.
Randy
Hi Suzan,
I hope your headache will be better tomorrow. I can't stand to have a headache. I'm with you about driving with a 15 year old, especially when you have a headache. I encouraged my daughter and her Dad to do a lot of that without involving me when she had her learner's permit.
That's great news about Keith's count and I hope he will continue to do well with the treatment.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for the birthday wishes.
As ever, Carver
Suzan,
I'm still here! I haven't been as vocal lately, but I'm reading when I can. I hope you never reach this point. Let's keep the hope going, and make Keith that 1%!! I hope you find a great job!
Still sending you love, prayers, and happy thoughts from Utah!
