Keith is being very quiet. Last night, when I gave him his dinner, he could only eat about 2 bites before he started throwing it up. I finally got him to drink a lime freeze (lime sherbet and ginger ale). Thankfully that stayed down and he was able to get easy and go to sleep. He has been enjoying oatmeal for breakfast and this morning he couldn't eat much at all. I finally got him to eat about 1/4 of a sandwich for lunch and he is drinking alot of ginger ale and lime sherbet. He has been out of it most of the day but this afternoon he seemed to rally and even visited with Kevin for awhile this afternoon. He did manage to eat a little chicken for dinner which I got excited about and it stayed down.
His nurse from hospice is on vacation this week and we had a different one today. He said that he is following the dying process and told me what to watch for. I hate this, but I am going to keep him comfortable. Keith is sleeping most of the day, but again every now and then we do get glimmers that he is still there.
Tania is coming Friday. It was an already planned trip and she decided to keep it. She is bring our 2 other grandchildren and I think Keith understands that they are coming and looking forward to it. I am looking forward to seeing them again. My aunt came over to visit this afternoon also. Keith always sees to rally when there is anyone visiting.
I'll post more as I can.

I am praying for peace for you and Keith and your family. This is all so awful, so unfair, and you are very strong. Keith is blessed to have you. Know that I am here for you and you are always in my thoughts.

Just hang in there Suzan. My prayers are with you all. Make the most of each precious moment. You are giving the greatest gift any loved one can give to another. (((hugs))))
Suzan,
My prayers are with you, Keith, and the family. I just found out about Keith's illness last week, and my heart is sad to hear it. Years ago (mid 80s), I worked with Keith at Thrall. I consider myself blessed to have known him. Through this comment page, I am sending you a hug and a prayer for strength and peace.
Anita
